Important Payment Notice – May Day Bank Holiday

Please be advised that Friday 1st May 2026 is May Day, a European Bank Holiday.

On this date, SEPA Classic payments and SEPA Direct Debits will not be processed, as interbank settlement systems will be closed.

SEPA Instant payments will not be affected and will continue to be processed as normal.

As a result:

• Payments scheduled for 1st May 2026 will not be credited to or debited from accounts as usual
• Members are advised to make payments in advance to avoid any disruption
• Payments processed on Thursday 30th April 2026 (in time) will be received with a value date of Tuesday 4th May 2026
• Incoming payments to the Credit Union may also be delayed, meaning accounts may be credited later than usual
